HILTON GARDEN INN SCOTTSDALE OLD TOWN, Scottsdale – Your ideal downtown stay

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms, though spacious and accommodating for a week-long vacation, were in disarray and need urgent fixing. The service, on the other hand, was exceptional, exceeding my needs and offering a friendly and helpful attitude. The location, while offering a nice outdoor sitting area and proximity to restaurants, lacked natural light and was set back from the windows. The dining was a great value, offering excellent made-to-order options, but it was a bit pricey for this type of hotel.

The hotel was a disaster and should never be used if not fixed. The rooms were nice and quite, so no complaints were had, but they need a lot of updating. The service was friendly and quite helpful. The location is perfect to be able to walk to restaurants and unbelievable with access to all bars and fashion square mall all within minutes. The dining was excellent with options to get you started in the morning. The facilities provided a comfortable experience.

When I arrived, everything was convenient, but the rooms became so stuffy and smelled so foul from mildew that it caused the whole room to stink. Although on the smaller side and lacking much of a view, the temperature was perfect initially.

My stay at the hotel was a bit mixed. The location was fantastic, ideal for exploring Old Town and enjoying local bars and shopping. The rooms, while clean, were a bit noisy as my room faced the street and they could use some sprucing up to meet Hilton standards. The dining options were great value with a delicious buffet spread, but missing some basic items like fruit or bagels. The service was exceptional, with friendly and accommodating staff, though there seemed to be some issues with the front desk systems. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
